NEWS FROM THE CHAIRMAN....

On Thursday, July 20th, the Escambia Democratic Party will be having a mayoral candidate forum for the announced candidates for the mayor's race.  The meeting will begin at 6:30pm at Franco's Restaurant in the Downtown area.  All candidates are invited to come and speak for approximately 5 minutes each.  Afterwards, DEC members would have a chance to ask questions of the candidates.  I think it would be healthy for all candidates to address our group at the same time.

Mayor Mike Wiggins, Councilwoman Mack, Ashton Hayward and Charles Bare have all been extended an invitation.  I hope you can attend.

You are cordially invited to a banquet in honor of Claudia Brown-Curry, Candidate for State House of Representatives, District 3.  The banquet will be held Saturday, June 26th, 2010 at 6:00pm at the Englewood Baptist Church - Life Center, 11 West Scott Street, Pensacola, Florida.  Please contact Linda Brown, (850) 261-6340 to RSVP by June 15, 2010.  Tickets are $35.00 for Adults (13+) and $15.00 for Children (12 and under).
